SGT to host Annual Conference in Cambridge

The Society of Glass Technology (SGT) Annual Conference 2025 will be held at Murray Edwards College, University of Cambridge, UK.

The conference will take place from 1–3 September, with a Banquet Dinner on Tuesday 2^nd September at Magdalene College, Cambridge.

The event is a forum for the discussion of all aspects of glass, including industrial, scientific, artistic, and historical.

The conference theme is ‘Glass, East & West’ to reflect how glass is a unique material that attracts interest from around the world.

The full programme is not available yet, but invited speakers can be viewed here.

In addition, the SGT is still accepting abstracts, saying that presentations from any glass-related areas are welcome, particularly if they have a sustainability focus.
