This year’s China Glass exhibition in April was a great success for exhibitors and visitors.
The 29th China Glass Expo 2018 took place on 19-22 April at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in Shanghai, China. It consisted of 33515 visitors from 72 countries, including 28971 domestic visitors and 4544 foreign visitors. Delegates attended from South Korea, India, Vietnam and Japan.
The four-day event organised by the Chinese Ceramic Society attracted 865 manufacturers, including 612 Chinese companies and 253 overseas companies.
The trade fair was made up of seven exhibition halls, which covered an area of 80500m2.
China Glass showcased a range of sectors in the glass industry, including: glass products, applications, production lines, manufacturing machines, processing technology and diversified domestic glassware.
Leading domestic and overseas companies launched new production lines at the exhibition. This included CNBM (Neijiang) Glass’ Photoelectric Glass Curtain Wall, LiSec’s Insulating Glass Production Line and Bystronic’s B’ CHAMP WS system for automotive glass and ultra-thin glass processing.
During the technical seminars and production promotions, topics discussed included: heat resistant separation materials, infrared high radiation energy-saving coatings, cloud intelligent manufacturing and industrial robots for glass production, energy saving technology for glass furnaces, new materials, coating applications and new products for the glass printing field.
The next edition of China Glass will take place on 22-25 May 2019 at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing, China.
