Şişecam has appointed Ali Tolga Ünal as its Chief Strategy Officer.
In his new position, Mr Ünal will play a key role in evaluating the performance of strategic goals within the company.
This will include identifying opportunities related to strategic investment, collaboration, growth, acquisition, and divestiture projects.
Mr Ünal has a degree in Industrial Engineering and a master’s in economics.
He has had an extensive career in the banking sector, beginning at İş Bankası in 1997 as an Inspector.
He has taken on various leadership roles within the organisation, and gained experience across the group’s subsidiaries.
In his most recent position as the Head of Financial Management, Mr Ünal supervised the preparation and publication of financial reports.
He was responsible for defining accounting policies for subsidiaries within the consolidation scope, as well as supporting the CFO and senior management with financial insights to inform decision-making processes.
