Şişecam contracts Zippe for triple batch plant project

Şişecam has contracted Zippe to execute three batch plant projects in Turkey and Hungary.

Zippe Industrieanlagen (industrial plants) will execute one container glass plant and two flat glass production facilities, among others for the car industry.

Zippe will supply the entire technology for these plants in the field of batch and cullet.

Completion for the projects will be mid-March 2023.

Şişecam is a global player in the glass industry, especially in key areas like flat glass, glass packaging, car glass and glass fibres.

The company has a production capacity of 2.6 million tons of glass per year in its production facilities for glass packaging.
