Sisecam to implement Turkey’s first Deposit Return System

Sisecam has helped implement Turkey's first ever Deposit Return System.

Glass manufacturer Sisecam has established Turkey's first ever Deposit Return System (DRS), which will be implemented in the country next year.

The company also announced it will move its Smart Glass Packaging Recycling Vending Machine to its headquarters in Istanbul.

General Manager Görkem Elverici, who launched the Smart Glass Packaging Recycling Vending Machine at Şişecam headquarters by throwing the first bottle, said: "We will continue to contribute to recycling, sustainability and society in every geography we are in."
