SNJ India Glasses, a division of SNJ Distillers, located near Gummidipoondi, Chennai, India has ignited its 230 TPD glass container furnace.
The plant will produce glass containers in flint, green and amber colours.
The plant is set up with modern equipment from batch plant to the end of the packing line.
GLINDCO, a project services company for the glass industry, completed the greenfield glass project with total responsibility from initial planning stage to commissioning of the plant through a turnkey EPCM contract.
The Hyderabad, India headquartered company said: “We sincerely congratulate and thank the SNJ management, project team, vendors, contractors, all employees and stakeholders to reach this milestone.
“We eagerly look forward to establish the next milestone of first glass coming out and start of the successful production.”
