South Korea to extend China anti-dumping duties

South Korea's trade commission has said it will consider extending anti-dumping duties imposed on Chinese float glass, due to possible damage to local manufacturers.

The current duties are set to expire on the 23rd May 2014, and range between 12-36%.

As of 2012, the size of the South Korean float glass market was US$362.8 million, with 74.7% of the total supplied by local manufacturers.

Chinese products have a combined market share of 4.8% as of the end of 2012.
