La Glass Vallée hosted a successful evening of networking and discussion recently.
Its Glass Night event was created on the occasion of the International Year of Glass last year.
Such was its success in November 2022 that the French-based association repeated the event this year.
This new event took place in Saint-Valéry-sur-Somme, France, on Thursday November 30, 2023. It was held in the historic Salt Warehouses, built in 1733, which were recently renovated.
This year, its conference focused on the theme of The Power of Engagement.
La Glass Vallée invited Franck Pierrot, professional speaker and commitment specialist, to give a talk on the subject. He was first head of an operational group within the Groupement d'Intervention de la Gendarmerie Nationale France (GIGN), then manager of various companies, in fields as varied as security and photovoltaics.
Mr Pierrot shared his experience and provided technical advice and tips to be implemented, on a daily basis, in our managerial and private lives.
After the conference, followed by an aperitif and networking, the 81 participants of the Glass Night were invited to a dinner, which was prepared and served by the Chef of the Restaurant Le Schorre.
La Glass Vallée plans to alternate the event between Paris and where the association is located in northern France each year.
La Glass Vallee is focused on the manufacture of luxury glass bottles in the Bresle Valley. It aims to promote exchanges between glass industry members and spread the know-how of the Valley, as well as focusing on innovation and training.
