Tecoglas has appointed Ondrej Bunda as Project Manager.
Following the retirement of Ondrej’s predecessor Garry Fisher, Ondrej’s new position will see him directly manage glass plant installation projects from early development through to project completion where he will be responsible for project scheduling, technical and budget evaluation, as well as construction co-ordination.
Ondrej originates from the Czech Republic where he received his Masters’ Degree in Structural and Transportation Engineering from the Czech Technical University in Prague.
Mike Davies, Tecoglas Managing Director, said: “Ondrej started his career with Tecoglas in 2017. His initial position of Structural Design Engineer coupled with him assuming the role of acting Project Manager during a recent major furnace re-build has given him an ideal platform from which to learn the technicalities of building glass furnaces from both a design and build perspective.
“Ondrej has worked hard to prove his ability to lead others, manage projects well and maintain high customer satisfaction throughout every process. These attributes have made Ondrej a natural successor to the Project Manager position in which we wish him every success”.
