Tiama, a provider of process and quality control equipment for hollow glass, has signed a joint venture partnership with Daheng Group-Imavision.
Daheng Group-Imavision, a Bejing-based company listed on the Chinese stock exchange, is a major player in image processing devices and applications with a turnover of $600 million and 4,000 employees.
The group already benefits from significant experience in building successful partnerships with international leading companies.
Both companies have recognised major synergies by combining Tiama’s 50 years’ experience in glass containers and Daheng’s knowhow and expertise in developing new inspection solutions.
Chinese container glass volume already represents close to 20% of worldwide demand.
This partnership will help to address not only this fast growing market, but also unsaturated markets for inspection and control machines.
The inauguration of the new premises is taking place on the 26th of March in the joint-venture’s province of Shandong, to which all Chinese glassmakers are invited in order to discover this new market player.
