Tiama and Glass Service join Glassman Asia conference

Tiama and Glass Service will speak at the Glassman Asia conference in Bangkok, Thailand.

Sébastien Ying, VP Asia–Pacific (APAC) at Tiama, will examine the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in inspection machines.

Tiama offers inspection with AI in all its sidewall machines, which leverage the throughput and production quality of plants.

Mr Ying will present use cases where its implementation reduced the false reject rate, whilst improving the critical defect detection capacity at the same time.

He will also discuss how the technology can be implemented into existing sidewall machines.

Meanwhile, Erik Muijsenberg, Vice President of Glass Service, will speak on how AI can be used to decarbonise the glass melting process.

Specifically, he will discuss AI-powered batch monitoring and model-based predictive control for electric and gas-fired furnaces.

Mr Muijsenberg will present the latest developments and results for both gas-fired and cold top electric melters.

The Glassman Asia trade show and conference will take place at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) on February 12 and 13.
