Turkish glass manufacturer GCA will provide an update on the domestic and global glass industry at next month’s Glassman Europe event.
The company’s General Manager, Dr Abdullah Gayret, will provide a presentation titled: Glass Packaging: A Sustainably Growing Industry, Turkish and Global Outlook.
The Glassman Europe conference and trade show takes place at the ICEC exhibition venue in Istanbul on February 8 and 9.
Alongside a trade show of 70+ exhibitors, the conference will focus on glass manufacturing and ways to make the production process more efficient.
A total of 19 conference presentations will be given over the two days.
Dr Gayret will also provide a presentation on behalf of the European Container Glass Federation (FEVE) on February 8. Dr Gayret, who is a FEVE board member, will speak about The Future of Packaging – Glass: fit for the future?

Companies which have registered to attend as visitors so far include Turkish glassmakers such as Sisecam, Ciner Glass and Bastrk Cam, overseas manufacturers such as Razi Glass, O-I, Zignago Vetro and Verallia, as well as glass customers such as Coca- Cola.
