Utilising AI for the glass industry

The Glassman Asia conference will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, on 12-13 February 2025.

Iris Inspection Machines will discuss how to effectively use Artificial Intelligence (AI) in glassmaking at the Glassman Asia conference in Bangkok, Thailand.

Alexandre Tan (see below), Asia Projects and Technical Support Manager at Iris Inspection Machines, will deliver a paper titled: ‘How to make AI an asset for glass’.

The paper will explore the main benefits of AI in industry, and how it can address the “real” needs of glassmakers.

This includes anticipating productions trends, as well as the accurate detection and categorisation of defects to increase productivity.

The conference will take place at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) on 12-13 February 2025.
