Verallia awarded for Artificial Intelligence project

Verallia was honoured at France’s AI Transformation Awards for a project that uses AI to improve safety and efficiency in glass manufacturing.

The annual AI Transformation Awards cover all AI implementations in France, aiming to recognise the best technological initiatives in the sector.

This year, Verallia won in the ‘Efficiency’ category for its IS Watch Dog project, which aims to make glass manufacturing safer and more efficient.

The Efficiency award highlights AI initiatives that transform processes, delivering major gains in productivity, time, and resources.

Verallia has been leveraging the agentic AI developed by Cerrion for real-time monitoring of its lines.

The AI detects anomalies in production lines and reacts instantly to prevent incidents.

Key safety benefits include the prevention of severe fires, and an improvement in operator safety.

On the performance side, the system has helped reduce downtime, decrease jams, and improve material longevity.

After proving its value in several plants, the IS Watch Dog is now being deployed across Verallia’s production lines.
