Vertech' has introduced services and software maintenance for SIL system users in the glass industry.
The software company, which specialises in production monitoring, offers a range of services to ensure a smooth installation when glass manufacturers invest in or replace another monitoring system with an SIL system.
The services consist of pre-installation audits (to ensure a complete understanding of a client's requirements like machines to be connected, equipment to be supplied, specific adaptations of the system according to the plant configuration as well as provide engineering and wiring specification documents) customisations and fine-tuning (installation of the system by highly trained and experienced engineers/technicians to provide a tailor-made like solution for the plant) and the on-site training of operators, technicians and managers, as well as client support during commissioning.
Vertech' also offers a yearly maintenance service to optimise the long-term use of SIL systems. The maintenance contract includes an annual on-site upgrade, which is carried out by a company expert.

As a result of the company releasing an annual version of the SIL system, it will now interface with any new inspection equipment or devices on the market at no additional cost.
