Vetropack has appointed Stephen Rayment as Chief Supply Chain Officer with effect from 1 December 2021.
Over the last 20 years, Mr Rayment, 52, has built and successfully managed international supply chain organisations on behalf of various Novartis companies.
For the last three years, he has been the Leader of Global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) for a speciality chemical company headquartered in Switzerland.
He has further developed the global S&OP process and was also responsible for regional areas in Asia, Europe and the Americas.
Mr Rayment brings a strong knowledge across industries and supply chain functionalities. His understanding of the latter has enabled him to design optimal supply chains and simplify and standardise processes.
Mr Rayment studied Engineering & Manufacturing in the UK at Southampton Technical College and Solent University. He is currently studying for a BSc (Honours) in Environmental Science with The Open University.
Mr Rayment succeeds Michela Argirò, who left the group after a short period due to personal circumstances on 7 November 2021.
