Zippe has completed the assembly of the batch plant at Vetropack’s new glass manufacturing facility in Italy.
Zippe started the construction of the batch house for the Swiss glass group at its greenfield glass production site in Boffalora, Italy last year.
The silos have been lifted in and the assembly of the equipment has been completed.
Now, the test run of the batch plant is in full progress.
The order is processed by Zippe on a turn-key basis. Later, the plant will supply two melting furnaces.
The two cullet return systems are also included in Zippe’s scope of supply.
All parties concerned are very pleased about the progress of the project and the plant can go into operation within the next weeks.
