Vidrala will begin the electrification of its photovoltaic plant located at its factory in Crisnova, Castilla La Mancha, Spain.

The photovoltaic plant is the largest solar project of the glass industry in Spain, and will begin its electrification imminently.

Advanced technology will allow the plant will produce 100% of the electrical energy of the production centre at times of maximum intensity, allowing the reduction of around 9,000 tons of CO2 per year.

This initiative is a sign of Vidrala's clear commitment to the environment, advancing its sustainability and energy efficiency strategy.
