The main European glass container markets show widespread growth trends, consistent with the gradual development in the patterns of consumption of food and beverages, reported Spanish glassmaker Vidrala.
In its half year financial results, the group reported a 3.5% rise in sales to €392.8 million and a gross operating profit of €85.56 million.
It reduced its debt by 21.9% over the past 12 months
It said that in the context of the current European glass container market, its results for the rest of the year should remain strong.
