Vidrala Group has announced that it has closed the first quarter of 2012 with a consolidated net profit of €10.6 million, up 16.6% compared to the same period the year before.
The company attributes this improvement to the general recovery of the production efficiency. It stressed that the demand for glass containers has remained stable throughout all regions and customer segments where it operates and that forecasts are set to consolidate growth in sales volumes.
