Mexican manufacturer Vitro has appointed Adrian Sada Cueva as its Chief Executive Officer, replacing Hugo A. Lara Garcia.
Mr Garcia will assist Mr Sada Cueva during the next few months to guarantee an orderly transition.
Mr Garcia has retired from the group and said he had fulfilled his commitment to complete the financial restructuring of the company.
Vitro Chairman Adrian Sada Gonzalez, said: “The commitment and professionalism of Hugo were a key factor so that we could successfully conclude the restructuring process of our company, which today presents a solid financial position and is at the dawn of a new development stage”.
Mr Sada Cueva has been Vitro’s President of Glass Containers since March 2012 and has worked for the company for 15 years.
Before leading the Glass Containers business unit, Mr. Sada Cueva was VP Operations and Administrative & Financial Officer of the division.
He has a degree in Business Administration from the Tecnologico de Monterrey, and has a master’s degree in Business from Stanford University.
