Watch the International Year of Glass opening ceremony live via the UN's official channel

The UN's International Year of Glass is upon us....and you can watch it LIVE!

The much anticipated Opening ceremony to celebrate glass in all its facets takes place in Geneva, Switzerland on Thursday February 10.

Due to Covid rules, the number of participants physically attending the event are limited.

But anyone interested in watching the opening ceremony can do so online via the UN's own online channel.

The ceremony starts at 08:30 European time (07.30 GMT,) and is available to watch via https://media.un.org/en/webtv/
