Safelite AutoGlass, one of the largest providers of windscreen replacements in the USA, has begun rolling out a recycling program aimed at saving approximately 15,000 – 20,000 tons of material going to landfills every year.

The program is being implemented across markets near the company’s selected recycling plant partner, Shark Glass Recycling North America, with the operation in the East coast of the USA expected be complete by the end of May 2012. It will then be expanded out to the West coast.
