Women in Glassmaking panel discussion

The role of Women in Glassmaking will be a focus of discussion at the forthcoming Glassman Europe event.

Female leaders from the industry will highlight the role of women in the sector and discuss how more people can be encouraged to pursue a career in glassmaking.

The wider theme of talent scarcity and how the sector can be made more appealing to young people will also be discussed.

Among those on the panel are Helene Marchand, General Manager France at Verescence, Adeline Farrelly, Secretary General at FEVE container glass association (pictured) and Piril Konuck, Business Development Manager at Gurallar Cam Ambalaj of Turkey.

A further panellist will be announced shortly.

The panel discussion will take place within the Glassman Europe trade show which takes place in Lyon, France on September 17 and 18.
