Zignago Vetro wins sustainable glass making award

Zignago Vetro received 'Regional Top-Rated Badges' for its sustainable manufacturing methods.

Italian glass manufacturer Zignago Vetro has secured an award for its sustainable production.

It was given a rating of 11.9, putting it in 324^thplace out of 14,142 companies in Sustainalytics’s rankings.

This further places the company 5^th out of 94 firms in the ‘Containers & Packaging’ sector, and 2^nd out of 56 businesses in the ‘Metal & Glass Packaging’ division.

These results led Sustainalytics’s owner, Morningstar, to award Zignago Vetro with its ‘Regional Top-Rated Badges’ for 2022.

This accolade arrives alongside excellent sustainability assessments received from other global ESG rating bodies.

Zignago Vetro has also obtained a Platinum status from EcoVadis and an increased rating from Gaja Rating (from 62/100 to 77/100).

These results confirm the group’s commitment to developing an ethical business model as well as its quest for sustainable growth.
