AGC Europe adds 1000tpd line to flat glass plant
AGC Glass Europe (a division of Japan’s Asahi Glass) has launched a flat glass production line near Klin in Russia with a reported capacity of 1000 tons per day.

Permanent bar coding on glass
RS International Ceramics Supplies Co (RSICS) – a producer of high-temperature bar codes – has developed a system of serialised bar codes that can be applied to glass substrates and ‘fired’ onto the surface, giving a permanent, scratch, chemical and heat resistant bar code.
